cultivating the inner spring garden: so many great things coming forward right now--and here's where i'm at:
reading: "the writing diet" by julia cameron and
susan jacoby's "the age of american unreason".
listening to: mostly the fabulous jonatha brooke and her latest cd, "careful what you wish for"--every track hits home! in addition, "let it go" by david wilcox, "soulmate" by natasha bedingfield, "little black sandals" and "lentil" by
sia and "enchantment" and "breathless" by corinne bailey rae.
working on: seeing that stories and poems get written and revised.
(just now finally getting around to) watching: "the jane austen book club," "la vie en rose," and "across the universe".
nibbling on: ripe avocados, walnuts and dijon mustard for lunches--mmmmm!
anticipating: that the grass will go from brown to green.
a postcard from heartthrob town arrives early spring: a very big thank you to
"outwords magazine" in canada for their wonderful review of my book of travel stories, offering that the collection "is written with tenderness, loving and longing." you can read the entire review online in the current april, 2008 spring issue as a .pdf file.
