finished the revision of "mer boy" and sent it off to mitzi. now back to cleaning up the new poetry manuscript with an eye for recording "rosary" for an installation next fall. the weather has been warm and stormy and i'm content to stay in and work whenever i can. connected with claire in portland finally--a three hour call last night and some amazing revelations about zen, meditation, the practice of breathing and sitting . .and worthiness. i'm thinking about the connection between accessing the "essential" self and how one's devotion to that reveals itself in everything else--work, relationships, creativity. the more you stay conscious in every moment, the deeper the realization that every thing is an opportunity to unveil the divine. awake, awake!
